'Tis the Season!

Here are a few pictures from our attempt at obtaining a picture for our Christmas card. That's always fun, especially when you're trying to get a good shot of more than one child! They were both really sweet, though!

Christmas is fast approaching and we are all getting very excited! We've been to see the lights at Callaway, and many nights are spent riding around looking at all the Christmas lights around where we live. Our little elf, Elfie, has been doing a great job keeping a close eye on us at home, and B and AG are both being little angels! (Most of the time, anyway!) Brooks loves the book The Polar Express, so this weekend we are going to see the movie in 3D! He will be so surprised and excited to see it in the theater. Anna Grace had her Christmas program last night and she was SO sweet. I will post pictures from that later. She is hoping that Santa will leave her a black horse under the tree. (And she does mean a real horse!) I can't wait to see what Santa decides to do about that! Merry Christmas to everyone!

"Church School"

Anna Grace started yesterday at what she fondly refers to as "church school!" (His Kids Preschool!) She loves it and has had a BALL the past two days. These pictures are from this morning, her second day of school.

In the pictures I took, she is pouting...she was a little upset this morning when I dropped her off. But sweet Alicia kept in close touch with me and assured me that AG was fine soon after I left. She even sent me some great pics of AG so that I would not be so worried! (Thank you, Alicia!) Here are Alicia's pictures:

Brooks Starts Pre-K!

Brooks's first day of Pre-K was Friday, August 7th. He had a great day and has had so much fun every day since then. He cries just a little when I drop him off, but not every single day...and his teachers say that as soon as I leave, he is soooo happy all day long! He has made lots of new friends and he loves his two sweet teachers! Here are some pics:

Summertime!

Inspired by Alicia...I'm going to try to update the blog more often! ("Try" is a safe word to use, right?) Here are some pictures from this summer. B and AG are growing up SO FAST and they are such sweet, smart children! I love them too much!

FINALLY!!!

Brooks on a field trip to a petting zoo/pumpkin patch.

Merry Christmas! (The pony is from Santa...her name is "Miss May")

AG likes to pull Miss May.

It's hard to get a good picture of both kids together...and here is proof! 1st try: B looks away!

2nd try: AG looks away!

This is NOT the 3rd try...more like the 23rd! But I FINALLY got a shot of both of my sweet babies! (Please overlook the fact that AG still isn't looking at the camera! It's good enough!)

Hmmm...

Anna wouldn't get any closer than this! She didn't have a problem taking the candy cane, though!

Thank you Ms. Bobbie! We love to get our hands, faces, and arms painted whenever we see you!

Choosing a design...

AG's face painting...she was so proud!

Aww...a little Rudolph!

Thanks to the Clay Lady, Brooks got to paint a BEAUTIFUL fish ornament for the Christmas tree! He did a great job!

Christmas at Baboo's house...AG is almost too big to sit in Brooks' lap!

Brooks, cousin Jack, and Anna Grace (Brooks LOVED playing with his sweet baby cousin!)

Surprise!!!

We all had a wonderful time when we celebrated Gran Dollie's birthday at our house on Sunday, July 27th! We surprised her with a birthday party complete with family, decorations, a delicious supper, cake, and ice cream! She was completely surprised! (Thank you, Grandaddy!) We were so happy that everyone could come and I was so THANKFUL that they brought food! I've never had so much food in my house!

We love you, Gran Dollie!
